🚀 What’s Trending on TikTok & Reels:
Almost Forgot This is the Whole Point
The "Almost forgot this is the whole point" trend is all about slowing down and appreciating the small, meaningful moments that make life, and all the hard work, worth it. Set to the piano intro of Matt Berry’s Take My Hand, creators use soft, heartfelt clips of simple joys like nature, family time, or quiet achievements.
Ideas for Application: Include text on screen that says, “Almost Forgot This is the Whole Point”
Clip of your clients closing on their dream home
Clip of you setting up for an open house, on a call, working in the field
Clip of your passions outside of real estate, an opportunity to show more authenticity of your personal life
Set to Empirical’s uplifting new track Dreamz, this trend is all about reflecting on personal growth and how far you’ve come. It usually starts with a throwback clip, a moment that shows a "before" version of yourself, paired with a reflective question like “Have I changed?” or “Did I make it?” Then, it cuts to a present-day clip that answers the question with a confident yes. It’s a celebration of growth, resilience, and dreams coming true.
Ideas for Application:
First Year vs. Now: Clip 1 is a photo or video from your first year as an agent, followed by a video of a busy showing, a happy client at closing, or a "Sold" sign going up.
Confidence Journey: Clip 1 is footage of you rehearsing scripts, working late, or doubting yourself early on, followed by you now, walking into meetings, hosting open houses, and leading clients with ease.
Personal Growth Beyond Sales: Clip 1 is you stressed, overwhelmed, burned out, followed by clips of you traveling, spending time with family, enjoying hobbies, living a full life because of your career, not consumed by it.
Set to the soulful 1977 tune of “Easy” by The Commodores, this trend fires back at passive-aggressive comments and societal expectations with sarcastic comebacks. The structure is simple: the creator reacts in a dramatic or deadpan way, as if someone has said something to them that they feel the need to defend. The text is overlaid in quotation marks, as if someone has just said something to them, like, “You’re such a gossip”, with the creator’s response below, like ‘God forbid a girl keep traditional storytelling alive.’ The response starting with “God forbid” is a key part of this trend.
Ideas for Application:
"You really think houses are still worth that much?"
God forbid I trust actual market data."You really think staging makes a difference?"
God forbid I know what actually sells a home."Do you really need another coffee today?"
God forbid I stay caffeinated and close deals."You post about houses so much."
God forbid I market my business like a professional.

🎯 This Week’s Level-Up Lesson
5 Sneaky Ways to Stand Out On The Feed
Use your outtakes! Laughing shots, weird poses, silly faces… instead of focusing on the perfect shot, use your in between ones as a way to mix up your carousels or as a on-text screen background video.
Add videos into the mix for carousels specifically. A minimal movement throughout with text on-screen will cause scrollers to stop and stare.
Look for color pops and interesting lighting. Against the white feed, they really help your post POP. Put this at the start of your carousels or within the first 3 seconds of your reel.
Food grabs attention. Use it as a prop in your photo posts and reels, especially when there are little details to look at.
Don’t just leave behind the scenes to stories! We’re all a little nosey… so share what you’re up to on your feed!
