🚀 Trending:
TikTok:
Act out a moment that’s overwhelming, or when you’re getting too many things at once. This can be a post that helps your clients get to know you better, manage expectations for working with you, or something funny in the profession.
Idea: When 5 listings come on the market the same day that would be perfect for my buyer!
This audio captures something going well until it’s interrupted with an error-message-like quickness. Use a quick transition or change your face with the audio while text or context clues suggest what changed so quickly.
Idea: When the best offer on the table is great until you notice it’s contingent on financing approval because they weren’t pre-approved.
Crossing Over:
3 reasons you shouldn’t TikTok and Reels
This trend relies on sarcasm, as most people are using it to share reasons you should do something, while the text on the screen says you shouldn’t. You can use it seriously, or ironically, whichever makes the most sense for your personal brand.
Idea: 3 reasons you shouldn’t hire a real estate agent. (sarcasm)
Idea: 3 reasons you shouldn’t remodel before you sell. (serious)
Reels:
When you weren’t paying attention to someone so you say “cool” and hope that was the right answer, especially if it’s a topic you don’t fully understand, or when you’re too busy thinking about something else. But it’s not funny to joke that you would do this to a client, or someone you work with closely, as that can leave a bad impression on your clients or vendors watching. Keep it positive.
Idea: My mortgage broker explaining the math to me, “cool” while I remember why I’m the real estate expert and not the mortgage expert.
What’s a weakness of yours that you’re not that ashamed about? Is it a sweet treat from your favorite local cafe? Maybe more supplies for your hobby? Coffee Mugs? Throw Pillows? Shoes? This can be a local highlight option, or a get to know you piece.
Idea: Film yourself with your new thing, that you didn’t need another one of, and lip sync when the song says “I’m weak” when you show the audience the rest of the collection.
Perfect for a recap from a busy day in the life. Maybe use this to repurpose a top performing day in the life video you’ve already created, or share a small piece of the day that’s crazier than normal.
Idea: Start with a shot of your agenda for the day, then on the beat of bananas, show a clip or photo from each part task or event.
Encourage someone to just do what it is they’re debating.
Idea: Homeowners thinking about moving, but have lived there for 25+ years and have so much to do before they can sell. Use duration on the text list of all the things they need to do while you lip sync to the music to just do it.
Trending again, this audio offers a good beat to let points appear on the screen. There are 12 moments to add to your list.
Idea: 12 (or less) steps in the buying process.
Idea: 12 (or less) reasons to work with a real estate broker.
